Twilight Angel

Twilight Angel

Twilight Angel

You are such a little Angel

You are tired and need to rest

You climb upon the Teddy Bear’s chest

You feel so warm in the soft arms

Of the Teddy Bears cute charm

You must rest before daybreak comes

For you the Twilight Angel are

The Blessing Little Angel for someone

The light shines all around you

As you sleep for awhile

I just have a feeling

It is another child

I pray my little Twilight Angel

Everything will be fine

Just someone sick needs some love

Like the peace of the dove

It could be you, or me

It could be anyone you see.

I just know that the Twilight Angel will be

There to hold your hand

To help you through the day

Through the pain

Until you no longer need her again.

Then, this little one will go back and sleep

Next to the Teddy Bear

For, soon again there will be someone to seek

So, now sleep, sleep, and sleep
