I was thinking about the war today

I was wondering what the Troops would say?

I prayed a prayer  for the Troops today.

That and my family was all I could do today.

We were so grateful to be with our family

and I had to say a pray for you my friend

because "My Husband Has Been In The Same Place."

you are In.

A different war, Vietnam, and two tours he did spend!

So, war was on our mind today

And I wish and pray peace will find its way!

It sounds so far away  "coming home to your family and friends"

But, pray my Military Friends, and be thankful, and many at home

lifted you up to God today

I hope a Happy Thanksgiving you have

For just a few hours of this day

Please do not let the war get your down

Look Up, and do not frown.

We are flying our Flags of Red, White, and Blue!

And We Have Not Forgotten you!

May Our Loving  Lord Bless You On This Day

And Keep you sheltered in a Special Way.
