Diane's Poems

I am sending  sweet thoughts of you.

In hopes you will be thinking of me too.

 

I think of you for many a day

It has been so long since I have seen you

It sometimes seems so gray.

 

But, my heart flutters

When I think of the last time we were together.

You were the only thought in my mind

for a very long time.

 

Did I make a fool of myself?

Would you like to see me one more time?

Or, would you put me in your mind ,

Or, on the shelf.

 

I will never forget  the things we did , yes,  we were just kids,

but,  I will always remember the last night, and the crush I had

for so long , it was true and strong for just a kid

 

I still, my friend, Only think sweet thoughts of you.!

I hope you think the same for me too!
