Our Last Day

Our Last Day

If I knew it would be our Last Day

what would I do or what would I say?

The day you walked out the door

to go to work that morning;

How did I know it would be Our Last Day?

It was 9/11, just like any other day

Everything was hectic as the children would play.

I was at my table eating a late breakfast

as I saw the plane hit.

Oh, no, I did admit,

then, yes, the second plane came around and it hit

the second building.

I knew that many people would have to say

it is Our Last Day!

I was thinking as I watched  with amazement

how would I feel if It was Our Last Day?

I was glad I could see you walk in the door,

I was glad I could hold you a little more,

I could not think of the pain that the people that would say;

Oh, I wish I had one more day!

It was one of the most sad moments of my life

to see all the people that died that morning

with such terrible screams, as I saw some jump from the fire,

they knew they would die.

So, all my friends, I wish that day never occured!

We must live like today is Our Last Day!

Do all the things we can do and to say!

As, for all the families, I still pray each day.

I pray for each and every serviceman in the war today!

Please do not forget to keep out our USA Flags!

I also, fly my Pow/Mia Flag outside my home!

God Bless Us All , and God Bless the USA

and I hope I can live as if it were my  last day!
