If you knew you had just one more day

before you would be called to GloryLand

what would you do?

what would you say?

 

Would your last day be in Private;

Or with a friend?

I think no one wants to leave us,

Everyone would like One More Day.

 

We got lost yesterday

going to the doctors office,

as we pulled up into the parking lot of this building

We said, Is this Dr. Johnsons Office?

 

This lady said Sir, no this is Hospics

as we drove away,

she said , the last chance.

I had tears in my eyes

as we drove away.

 

Then, knowing it was Christmas soon

I thought about it all day.

So, I decided to question myself

what would I do, and what would I say

If I knew I had one more day?

 

I have lived a good life

a  few problems I have had.

many memories so wonderful, and some so sad.

 

If I only knew I had One More Day

I hope I have made my peace with God

for just One More Day.
