I came from a Military Family
My father a man of honor
and a hero to me.
He was blown off a ship in WWII
away out in the battle of the sea,
now I can say he is free.
He had many years of the battles in his mind
He is now in his 70's
He as many has paid the price
for freedom of this land of the free.
He still today loves the Navy,
His ship remains as a tourist attraction
in Huston Texas
for the many people to see.
Few survived from the Shipwreck the USS HUSTON
that was many years ago, the heros of yesterday.
The men in service and like the men of Korea and Vietnam and
and hero's of today.
All those of wars and our hero's, and
POW/MIAs
I fly the POW/MIA flag outside my home.
My husband has also spent 20 years of service in the USARMY,
And now on the 100% VA disability.
So, with love for my hero's, and the likes of men as these
I pray for the troops today fighting in this war.
We some did not want the war
but, we must pray everday for the troops and
hope peace with come soon.
God Bless MY Hero's, and God Bless the USA!
