Christmas Angel of Mine

You are so wonderful and Kind.

 

I will always remember a cold night in December

On Christmas Eve

It was when  I lived in the Mountains of Tennessee

 

My little Child was about the age of eight.

 

I was going through a divorce ,

I could not take care of myself very well

I had just left the hospital a month before

with a cancer tumor .

The Dr, got all my tumor

I was all alone with my little child.

 

We had gone to my moms house

She invited us to stay

But, being stubborn myself

I had just got back to work

I thought with Santa coming

I needed to be in my own home

So, I put all the toys under the tree

It was just my young child and Me.

That was the only Christmas

I felt all alone

"I was even loosing my home"

 

So, God sent me an angel silently

In my heart

 

I watched the lights on the Christmas Tree

an finally fell asleep.

 

Then, just as the morning came to dawn

I went to my child and said

"Santa has came for you tonight".

She was so happy

As she opened the toys, and Santa left her toys;

I loved watching her joy.

It was the last Christmas I can remember

I was so depressed in December.

 

Thank You Lord for sending me your  little Christ Child

He has made a difference in my life, with joy and Pain

Through the Storms and through the rains.

You are always in my heart

So, sweet and so Kind

 

I have survived cancer

It has been many a year, and I always think

of the little children with cancer,

that have this awful disease .

She Came to my hospital room just before I went down

to have my tumor removed

"She came in my hospital room and read me the Bible".

 

I wanted to thank her

and the hospital said to me

 that girl did not work there.

The one I was talking about?

It was hopital policy not to read the Bible to patients.

I suppose they thought  it was the medication.

 

" I know that I had a visit by An Angel".
